WMA (Windows Media Audio) is a proprietary compressed audio file format developed by Microsoft. WMA is capable of VBR, CBR and lossless audio encoding.
WMA can optionally support digital rights management using a combination of elliptic curve cryptography key exchange, a custom block cipher, RC4 stream cipher , DES block cipher and the SHA-1 hashing function.
WMA is often encapsulated in ASF files.
Advanced Audio Coding (Aac)
AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is a standardized, lossy compression and encoding scheme for digital audio.
Particularly, if bitrate is 100 kbit/s or less, AAC achieves better quality sound, than the more popular MP3 format due to the following features:

- up to 48 channels;
