About Multiple Network Graphics
MNG (Multiple-image Network Graphics) is a public graphics file format for animated images, closely related to the PNG image format.
The structure of MNG files is substantially the same as the PNG files structure, differing only in the slightly different signature and the use of a greater variety of chunks to support all the animation features which it provides. Images for the animation are stored in the MNG file as encapsulated PNG or JNG images. |
