About iPod
iPod is a kind of portable media players designed by Apple. The line-up consists of the video-capable 5th generation iPod classic, the small iPod nano, iPod touch with 3-D graphical user interfaces Cover Flow, and the displayless iPod shuffle . The full-sized model stores media on an internal hard drive, while iPod nano and iPod shuffle use flash memory because of their smaller size. iPods can also be used as external data storage devices.
iTunes software stores the music library on the user's computer and transfers music and other media to iPod. iPod supports the following fle formats: - MP3, AAC/M4A, Protected AAC, WAV, AIFF, Audible audiobook, and Apple Lossless (audio); - JPEG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and PNG (graphics); - MPEG-4 and QuickTime (video). |
