About FLIC file
FLIC is a file format for a class of animation files.
2 main types of FLIC files are FLI and FLC. A FLIC file stores a number of frames containing an image and possibly a palette, a label, or other data. Usually, a FLIC file contains a ring frame at the end, so that the animation can be played repeatedly without a pause between the last and the first frame. A FLIC file containing segments optionally contains a ring frame per segment. FLIC files are structured in a hierarchy of chunks. Every chunk has a fixed part and a variable part. The fixed part of every chunk contains the type and the size of the chunk. The rest of the chunk has no fixed format; it all depends on the chunk type. |
