About Mail
Mail (or Apple Mail, or Mail.app) is an e-mail program working with Mac OS X operating system.
Mail was originally developed as NeXTMail, a part of their Nextstep operating system. Later it become OS X Mail application. Apple Mail works with the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols, and supports MobileMe and Exchange via IMAP. Both the iPod touch and the iPhone use a mobile version of Mail. |
